As a trainee teacher you will be working in a positive, friendly and caring environment with well-motivated and able pupils. The school are looking for a trainee teacher of physics and science, you will (in time) deliver science at all levels to KS3 and Physics at GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will:

Be able to relate to children of all abilities, you will of course be able to teach the most able and offer challenge in your lessons, (in time) being able to design and deliver engaging and purposeful lessons is a must.

  • Hold a good bachelor’s degree

  • Have a GCSE Grade C or 4 in Mathematics and English Language

  • Be passionate about teaching and making a difference to young people

  • Have the presence and character to relate to the students at John Hampden Grammar School
