John Hampden Grammar School’s MFL department deliver French, German and Spanish and are looking to meet trainee teachers who can deliver one language to GCSE, you must offer a second language to at least KS3. In KS4 the students chose one MFL subject to take through to GCSE (AQA), MFL is a popular department, with many students studying two languages.

The successful candidate will:

Be able to relate to children of all abilities, you will of course be able to teach the most able and offer challenge in your lessons, (in time) being able to design and deliver engaging and purposeful lessons is a must.

  • Have a GCSE Grade C or 4 in Mathematics and English Language

  • Be passionate about teaching and making a difference to young people

  • Have the presence and character to relate to the students at John Hampden Grammar School
